30 Day SaaS

Speed-running for startup nerds

It started with a tweet:

I DMed Cooper, but after a bit of back and forth, the conversation died.

Now, I don’t really think you can build a valuable SaaS in 30 days, but I was excited and inspired by the idea, and I’m going to give it a solo run and see if I can get a high score.

The rules are as follows:

  1. Start January 1st with a completely blank slate — no previous ideas or plans.
  2. Pencils down January 31st — no more coding, no more marketing, no more working on the SaaS in any way.
  3. List the SaaS for sale on @microaquire. If it doesn’t sell, lower the price until it does.
  4. Highest score wins!

Roadmap

Here is how I’m thinking of tackling it —

Week 1: Idea exploration, audience selection, design, early feedback

Week 2: Build.

Week 3. Marketing and feedback

Week 4: Post on microaquire, more marketing and iterate on any feedback!

Anyone feel like joining in? I’ll think of something fun to put up as a first place prize!
